2019 health trends

New Health Trends in 2019

There are so many health trends paving the way for 2019, here are four I have noticed in the market and I am keen to test out.

Over the weekend, I was given the amazing opportunity to attend the Naturally good Expo for 2019 on behalf of Bondi Beauty and I learned about some key health trends which are paving the health market for 2019.

Of course, I have limited these trends to my top four, as there are just WAY too many to discuss here and most I don’t really fancy, whether they are a trend or not. So, I have reduced it down to the ones I am super keen to trial for myself.

  1. Nut Butters: nut butter, whether that be for toast or salad toppings or as a general butter replacement for baking and cooking, are leading the market. With so many new varieties now available, from cashew to walnut butter, there is now almond butter and macadamia butter. I am yet to try any, but super keen to test out the new Melrose Coconut Cashew Nut Butter Blend – yum!
  2. For lovers of coffee (like me) you will know there is only one great Soy Milk to use for coffee and you know a good cafe when they use this brand also: Bonsoy by Spiral Foods from Japan. Well, exciting news, they have now released a new range of drinks and other products. These include flavoured coconut kinds of milk, to organic gluten-free flours like brown rice flour and white quinoa flour. They will also be releasing a new gluten-free, vegan pasta range soon too.
  3. If you’re a lover of gluten-free, sugar-free and vegan powder and protein drinks, you have probably heard of the brand Amazonia. They have been mixing up health drinks for many years now and have excelled in the market of healthy drink supplements for vegans and gluten-free peeps like myself (though I am not completely vegan). Now, they have released a new range of food, like their Pulled Jackfruit mock meat which can be used for pasta dishes, burgers. You name it. Delicious!
  4. It seems like every man and his dog are releasing their own health version of a protein bar, whether they be vegan, gluten-free or completely sugar-free. The unlimited about of brands who have developed yummy tasting snack bars is almost overwhelming. So, why not add another brand to the mix. Essential Hemp have created not only a completely gluten-free, vegan and sugar-free protein bar, they have gone further and made it soy free, paleo, raw and organic and added hemp for additional health benefits.
